There came a time in your marriage when your children did not want to study anymore. They lost the motivation to strive hard no matter how you reminded them that what they did is for their own good. Every time your spouse came home, your partner just proceeded to your room and took a nap unmindful of who were around. That includes you! You are wondering if you did something wrong. You might be a perfect spouse, but these moods are threats to your marriage.
Physical exhaustion may have choked your family and this might lead to arguments if not properly addressed. A slight misunderstanding might provoke a lengthy discussion which will lead nowhere. It is very much possible that any slight argument would result to unavoidable fights. During this moment, you choose to avoid discussing serious matters. How will you bring back their moods? Give them the much needed break!
Bring your family outside to reinvigorate them. It brings back the much needed happiness and motivation. A trip could either be an expensive vacation or will only cost you a few dollars. It could be far, or could be just a short trip around the corner. Some may take days, but others could be just plain sightseeing with the whole family. There is no need for you to spend a lot of money, just go to any place outside your home and let the children enjoy themselves. How about going to parks? Letting your children explore God’s creations would help them strengthen their faith in one of the greatest institutions that God Himself created- your Marriage!
A vacation could be a low priority to some where the family’s income is only for food, rentals and basic needs. Yet, going outside is a must to save your marriage that might have lost its romance. Believe me; you will be shocked of the immediate change of moods.
You will be then thankful to a great vacation that helps your lasting marriage.
